My works

In this section I present the fruit of my artistic research about dreams. For me, the dream world constitutes a parallel space, largely unexplored, where realistic fragments converge with nebulous elements that border on fiction. Through the images, I seek to convey this contrast: on the one hand, the sharpness of memory; on the other, the instability and diffuseness of the scenes of a dream.

The work shown here (taken as reference in the attached image) perfectly illustrates the essence of my style: a synthesis of theatricality and spirituality. In it, you can see how the central figure emerges from an abstract and enveloping line, symbolizing the flow of consciousness during sleep. At the same time, the realistic representation of his face and movements invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the intensity of that dreamlike moment.

In the creative process, I enter a state of trance or meditation—a semi-drowsiness—that imbues every brushstroke with energy and strength. My purpose is for the viewer to notice the relevance of consciousness and memory in dreams, and to feel invited to reflect on the fusion between the real and the ethereal in each of these works.

Over the years, this way of exploring the dream universe and its changing elements has allowed me to evolve towards a very personal style. The use of contrasts—between sharpness and blur, the tangible and the indefinite—represents my own search: to delve into the recesses of the mind and, ultimately, transfer that experience to each piece that makes up my work.
